Reviews for Chic-A-Loes
Review highlights
Based on 804 reviewsChic-A-Loes is widely praised for its generously sized, well-cooked chicken sandwiches that offer a lightly seasoned but flavorful option for those seeking a more straightforward taste. Many customers appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the fries receive mixed feedback and are generally considered average, the variety of menu items like wings, burgers, and sides such as okra add appeal. The restaurant’s value and portion sizes are frequently highlighted, alongside quick service and a comfortable, homey atmosphere. Overall, Chic-A-Loes is recognized as a solid choice for satisfying, freshly prepared meals in a warm, inviting setting.
A great chicken sando! Yes it’s massive, crunchy, and lightly seasoned. If you want a saucy or heavily seasoned sandwich, select a different option. However, it’s yummy and worth it. The fries were ok, and the steak sando was tasty (not as good of a bun to meat ratio, but still tasty). We’ll definitely be back!
Their chicken sandwich was great. Definitely rivals that of Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. The chicken they used was HUGE. I couldn’t finish the entire thing. Their fries aren’t very good but the chicken sandwich made up for it. They serve way more things like wings and burgers. Can’t wait to come back to try the rest of their menu. The staff here is also really friendly
Everything was surprisingly good. If was Sunday around 2. The parking lot and restaurant was quiet. The cook took our order and he cooked this food so good. Everything was good and fresh. Now I understand why the drinks are 1 refill. Hats
This was my first time inside and while the food is always good I was extremely impressed by how friendly the staff were. I felt so welcomed. Chic A Loes is also such a good value! Please go check them out!
Visited from out of town and loved the sandwich, got a huge amount of food and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We also tried the okra and it was solid. Service was quick, inside had nice homey vibes, and the prices were decent (at least to someone warped by Canadian dining costs). I'll definitely be back the next time I'm around the ATL
The best bang for your buck fried chicken sandwich in Atlanta! The fried steak sandwich was delicious as well. Both were juicy and tender. Beats Chick-fil-A all day!
The food was great! A friend took me to this spot a couple months ago and I loved the chicken sandwich. I recently came back again (ordered the same combo, chicken sandwich dipped in honey hot) and it hit the spot again! The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. I waited less than ten minutes if that. The sandwich is HUGE, you definitely get your money’s worth. I love supporting local businesses so I’ll continue to return!
Great food. Yesterday was our first time going. The employees were nice enough to let us in to try one of these sandwiches my father talks so highly of. He was a regular back in the day when he was working. We were celebrating out 8th anniversary. They were closing early due to maintenance but were nice enough to feed us. Thank you guys for making our first of many visits awesome! The food was great and we will be back soon!
